Physie is a dance sport for girls and women of all ages. It incorporates elements of modern dance, ballet, Pilates and gymnastics to create a unique syllabus. Physie develops core strength, balance, flexibility and posture. Students will develop confidence, sportsmanship, teamwork and friendships
Australian Physie and Dance Association (APDA) is uniquely Australian, the syllabus, updated annually, is performed to modern music and comprises standing and floor exercises, aerobic warm-ups, basic ballet, and modern dance. The choreography is age-appropriately designed to teach the relationship of music to movement, rhythm, co-ordination, balance, and musical interpretation. |
