Choosing a leotard
Champion Girl/Lady competitions are all about being the best individual on the day. Your leotard should draw the eye of the judges and allow you to look your best!
When choosing a leotard style, be mindful of the shape of your body and how the design/colour enhances your best features. When ordering your leotard, you can request the company to accommodate your body shape and build your leotard accordingly. Be specific with measurements indicating additions/reductions as 3cm/4cm/5cm etc.

Buying second hand
Leotards are often only worn 3-4 times during the year for competitions, so they are often in good condition when sold.
Before 2016, leotards were supplied from Makamy Designs while they will be phased out over the next 2-3 years, you can still wear them for competition. Please note - Makamy Designs changed the sizing of leotards in 2015. So a 2014 design size12 leotard is bigger than a 2015 design size12 leotard.
Reedle Dancewear is the current APDA approved leotard supplier and their sizing is different again with some ladies dropping two sizes from a Makamy Design.
There is Facebook site for Physie and Dance Leotard Sales (second-hand) Juniors and Seniors/Ladies it is exclusively for re-selling of leotards/dancewear for APDA Members.
